ADROMA

Nii Adumuah Dowuona

Life really is interesting,
Since when did a smile look so bright?
When did a “fake” dimple become surreal?
Since when did I wish the sun always shone,
And never went down on me?
Been searching,
But never found my pot of gold.
Never caught the shooting star,
Never have been certain.
I have sang a thousand songs,
Of awful tunes.
Dreamt a thousand dreams,
But none ever came true.

I have seen miracles,
But nothing, amazing, as you.
I see the sun shine it’s brightest
In your wonderful smile.
Now I know
That it’s you,
I have been waiting for.
Finally realized,
I’ve waited all my life
For this moment to arrive.
I believe in you,
And the certainty of uncertainty.

To the world,
You are ADOMA,
But to me,
You are the aroma,
That I smelled from life.
Like an angel,
You appeared unexpectedly,
Happiness you bore
To a soul that was sore.

Woke up one morn,
Forgot to say my prayers,
Saw an angel at noon
That had a dimple
That evening, I said my prayers
To you my angel
And ask you to bless me forever,
ADOMA, bless me with your beauty,
Your warmth and your persona
Bless me!
