The Eha-Lakasa concept takes a surge forward as the year comes to a close with a poetry slam at the French Language and Cultural Center Alliance Française in Accra this December. Titled "Eha-Lakasa Poetry Slam '09", the programme intends to '...redefine the poetry landscape in Ghana..."

With the promise a 'night of firewords with lyrical viberation', the expectation is of an exciting event with unusual performances, and a splash of creativity.

Potential poets and performers are invited to take part in an auditioning at Alliance Française on Wednesday, 25th November 2009 from 4 PM - 6 PM.

The poetry slam itself is slated for Wednesday, 16th December 2009 at 8.30 PM.
